Privacy Policy

We record a few anonymous usage events and the emails people choose to send us. Nothing else.

What we collect

Usage events: in Google Analytics (GA4) and in our own first-party event log, a random visitor id stored in your browser, the page path, the referring site, campaign tags in the link, the country (from the network), a rough device type, and actions such as viewing an area, switching fuel, using a calculator, downloading a CSV, opening the pricing page or the checkout.
Forms: the email address and message you send through the contact form, or the email and alert areas you enter at checkout.
Network address: used only to limit how many requests one network can send per hour and per day, stored as a salted one-way hash in a daily counter.

No advertising and no selling of data. The site contains no ad code.
Your email is used only to reply to you or to send the one message about checkout you asked for.

Google Analytics (GA4) gives us anonymous usage statistics: pages viewed, tools used and the steps of the pricing and checkout pages. It sets cookies in your browser and receives the pages you view and your approximate location. We never send it your email address or anything you type in a form.
Cloudflare hosts the site and its database. Besides Google Analytics, we keep our own first-party event log described above, in that database.

To have your email or messages deleted, email support@heatingoilprices.site. Clearing your browser’s site data removes the random visitor id.
